Snake Marston first appeared in Machine Man #16 (August 1980), and was created by Tom DeFalco and Steve Ditko.
The character subsequently appeared in Marvel Team-Up #138 (February 1984), Thunderbolts #104 (September 2006), and #107 (December 2006).
Snake Marston appeared as part of the "Enforcers" entry in the Official Handbook of the Marvel Universe Deluxe Edition #4.
Sylvester Marston was born in Ontario, Canada. He was a member of Baron Brimstone's Satan Squad and the Enforcers. Snake has not been seen since, and was presumed dead, following his impersonation by the Eel as part of a plot involving Daredevil, Mister Hyde, and the Enforcers.[1]
During the Civil War event, he was captured by Baron Zemo's Thunderbolts and forced to join them or face jail time.
Snake Marston has no super human powers; he is however a master contortionist who can hold an opponent helpless by winding himself around them.
